GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's American Airlines customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~pgood: Tried booking flights on line and swear I did it on my correct dates... Confirmation showed wrong dates and couldn't get through to anyone to change flights without more than a $****.** change! Turns out if flight you pick on dates you want is sold out it doesn't tell you that on website it just moves your dates!!!! Grr!!! Then calling all night and day to customer reservations and if they have heavy call volume them just tell you to call back and hang up!!!! * days, a lot of frustration and no real choice for resolution I had to spend more $ ! That's what I get for flying FIRST class on American Airlines!!!
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting American Airlines. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a American Airlines problem?

GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~pgood: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about American Airlines's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~pgood: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other American Airlines customers?
~pgood: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for American Airlines to know who you are.
