Blackberry: There are two methods for reaching customer sup...

A Blackberry customer review by GetHuman user ~Phil from November 27th, 2017

Background on ~Phil's case

GetHuman: ~Phil - can you tell our other Blackberry customers when your case took place?
~Phil: Yes I can. It was morning, on November 19th.
GetHuman: Did you reach out to Blackberry, and if so, how?
~Phil: I used the 877-255-2377 number I found for on the GetHuman Blackberry customer phone number page I was on: Blackberry Customer Service Phone Number
GetHuman: And which of these common Blackberry customer issues best describes the reason you wanted to talk to them?
(Shows ~Phil a list of common Blackberry problems)
~Phil: "Repairs" was why I was trying to call.

~Phil's review of Blackberry customer service

GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Blackberry customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~Phil: There are two methods for reaching customer support at Blackberry and neither of them is appealing. **Call ***-***-**** press * and then one as though you were willing to pay for tech support. A tech support person will answer and you have to give them your info and THEY will contact customer service using the info you gave the tech support person IF you purchased the phone from Blackberry.*I seriously think that if you bought your device from a carrier let them deal with it. If the device wasn't purchased from The Blackberry Store they won't support it and If you bought you device from Amazon you are at a dead end unless you need tech support which will cost you $** per individual incident. **OR call *-***-***-**** This is the number that I was given by the "customer support" person when I asked for a direct customer support number. Evidently Blackberry has completely farmed out their customer service and I mean COMPLETELY. **It has been farmed out to a company named Irive
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Blackberry. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Blackberry problem?
~Phil: I'd give them a three out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Phil: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Blackberry's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Phil: For that I would say five out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Blackberry customers?
~Phil: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Blackberry to know who you are.
GetHuman: Well there you have it. Some useful feedback and words from ~Phil taken from his Blackberry customer service problem that occurred on November 19th, 2017.
