GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Humana customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~Fight back!: I have had M.S. for ** yrs. Been in a wheel chair now for * yrs. The service is great except for when I recieved a letter form humana. A new med called Ampyra specifically for M.S. was denied. Their reasoning,,,,"Member must meet the following cryteria,,,Diaganosis of M.S.,,,,and member has had an initial timed walk test between * and ** seconds,or",,,Yes! "OR,,another objective measure of gate that provides evidence of significant walking impairment related to multiple sclerosis and the member is ambulatory and does not have a history of seizer disorder or moderate to severe renal imparment (CrC* less than **mL*min,) the coverage determanation was based on the Humana Pharmacy and Therapeudics Ampyra coverage policy". What a bunch of BS. Lets see,,,I am in a wheelchair,,I have M.S.,,My walking is deffinetly impared. I do not have a history of seizures or renal impairment. I was also told that many people with M.S. have been rejected for the Med thru Humana. I did ask to talk to the Pha

GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Fight back!: I'd give them a four out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Humana's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Fight back!: For that I would say five out of five.
