GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Yahoo customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~gcsc.compdata: Apparently Yahoo no longer services accounts by phone. It referred me to a help site that I have been to numerous times with NO help. I have had a Yahoo account for many years with very few problems. I just opened a new Yahoo account for a garden club job that I do to keep garden club and personal separate. After working for hours last night and in to the early morning, I no longer have access to that account. I have filled out forms, replied to customer service to answer additional questions and still no reply. I wish I had stuck with the Gmail account that I set up first. I really do hate to complain about Yahoo, but apparently they no longer service "free" accounts by phone. Only "paying" accounts are entitled to phone service. I have already wasted LOTS of time, and if I cannot gain access to this account, I am going to have to start all over not to mention that this is embarrassing. I rate the service as Horrible because I can't get any service.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Yahoo. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Yahoo problem?
~gcsc.compdata: I'd give them a one out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~gcsc.compdata: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Yahoo's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~gcsc.compdata: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Yahoo customers?
~gcsc.compdata: Try to deal with them early in the day or later. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Yahoo to know who you are.
GetHuman: Well there you have it. Some useful feedback and words from ~gcsc.compdata taken from his Yahoo customer service problem that occurred on November 19th, 2017.
