~Lucky Duck's review of AT&T customer service

GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's AT&T customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~Lucky Duck: They sent me unlock codes to my phone and the would never work. After doing tons of reasearch, I found that the instructions they were giving me via email were incorrect. You have to go throught several additional step that they left out in order to prepare your phone to accept the unlock code. It is a terrible shame that all the tech and customer support personnel are unaware of this procedure. Who knows maybe there is a financial reason that is to their advantage for kind of behavior. AT&T, you need to hire me. It appears that I know to fix the numerous problems I've experienced with no help from you. What's up? Things did not use to be like this. Now if you could put all the people who work for you in one room, it would not be equivalent to one brain. Send your people back to school for more training!
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting AT&T. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a AT&T problem?
~Lucky Duck: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Lucky Duck: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about AT&T's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Lucky Duck: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other AT&T customers?
~Lucky Duck: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for AT&T to know who you are.
GetHuman: Well there you have it. Some useful feedback and words from ~Lucky Duck taken from his AT&T customer service problem that occurred on November 17th, 2017.
