~newbie57: I was trying to respond to an email confirmation request generated by my signing up through the Maryland Health ins exchange,and the link required my member ID, which I had not yet received, as I had just applied the day before. I said "Operator" at two points during the initial automated phone tree, and was IMMEDIATELY transferred to a very helpful representative, who confirmed my ID over the phone and gave me all the info I needed. Called at around *:**a.m. EST.

~newbie57: I'd give them a five out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~newbie57: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about CareFirst's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~newbie57: For that I would say five out of five.

~newbie57: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for CareFirst to know who you are.
