GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Comcast customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~seonsmith: Xfinity is a piece of **** company. They made certain promises when installing their home system. Now after taking * *** months of calling and finally getting an answer that they will not do what they promised. They want to charge me for trying to terminate our home contract. Why did you take * *** months to tell me you couldn't do it? Why send out three different people to only have the last one finally tell me the truth, then say whoops, you waited too long to cancel. Why didn't you just say we don't do that and let me cancel from the get go?! To top it off they installed something they told us could be a liability that is only temporary and now are telling me it has to be permanent, and they won't fix it.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Comcast. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Comcast problem?
~seonsmith: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~seonsmith: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Comcast's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~seonsmith: For that I would say two out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Comcast customers?
~seonsmith: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Comcast to know who you are.
