~Mom of CP child: My child needs prevacid solutabs because she is tube fed. The insurance has suddenly deemed this a non-preferred medication and so a * month supply costs like $***. Express Scripts left a message that the medication was authorized. Upon further inquiry, I discovered that "authorized " doesn't mean "paid for"? It has prior authorization , but the payment will be $*** for * months. "Wha?" Thanks for getting our hopes up unnecessarily!
