GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Home Depot customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
GetHuman-433948: Bought the ridged * peacec. Combo kit . the sawzall went out took it to the service center and they change their warranty program and required me to leave battery tool and charger with them while they did warranty repair without the charger the rest of the kit is useless I brought my concerns up with Home Depot and they said too bad that's rigids warranty program in the company's policy and you have to deal with it even though I bought the tool and that wasn't the case at that time so they change the warranties requirements after I'd already registered in on the tool for a year I find a very unfair that they make me follow the new rules and I lose the use the tool for * weeks is what it takes for repair Simon tell anyone do not believe the lifetime warranty is very fair and I wouldn't buy a Ridgid tool again and the Home Depot does not stand behind the warranty you are stuck dealing with rigid and whatever they decide to change at any time just the way it is Home Depot says they can't
