GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Macy's customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~chps19: After waiting through ** connections to get a chat person, I asked "Mae M" a question, "she" took about *-* minutes to answer. I had turned away from the computer for maybe ** seconds and she disconnected the session. I reconnected with "Lucille F". Between each and every inane question that she asked there was a *-* minute pause. My question had to do with gift cards without a CID number. I have a return merchandise gift card along with an egift card, neither have CID numbers. After explaining the situation in detail, "Lucille F" asked if it had been scratched off and then put me on hold another *-* minutes. It was obvious I would never get an answer from this site and eventually left the chat line. Don't waste your time with this means of communicating with their "customer Service" representatives. If Macy believes this is customer service it is just one more indicator that this company is headed for self destruction, very soon I might guess.

~chps19: I'd give them a three out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~chps19: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Macy's's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~chps19: For that I would say five out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Macy's customers?
~chps19: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Macy's to know who you are.
