~sjsmith: The great news: I actually reached a live person. The OK news: At least they were able to give me the status of my repair ticket, which Verizon did not follow up by text and email as promised. The bad news: They cannot fix the phone until central office opens tomorrow because it is their fault. So because they are causing the problem instead of the customer, we have to wait! But it was wonderful to be able to discuss with live person, get info, and politely vent to her and explain exactly what she must indicate as customer feedback on their failure.
