“I cannot begin to describe how incredibly inept, ignorant, and just totally aggravating the Alltel customer service reps are, with no exception. In the end, I had to agree to pay a $25 activation fee on a new account that I never wanted (all I was doing was buying a new phone for my existing account and instead they created a whole new account and phone number), because it was the path of least resistance after having spent no less than 10-12 hours on the phone over 3 months' time, at least half of it on hold, and getting harrassing phone calls for weeks. Use any other cell phone company...if you use Alltel, you will be screwed!!
