REFERENCE ACCOUNT: Name & number deleted At approximately 1:30 PM on Tuesday, August 8, 2006 our cable service was interrupted due to a storm in Bristol, VA. area. When I returned home at approximately 6:00 PM on that day, I contacted Charter and reported the problem. 17 minutes before I actually spoke to a real person, named Todd. I advised Todd of the problem and that I had already attempted to have a signal sent to the cable box, with no positive results. Todd assured me that the problem would be taken care of and technicians were out working in the area. This telephone call lasted more than 20 minutes. As the Transportation Manager for my City, I know every street and I travel all city streets on a frequent basis throughout the day. At no time during the 24-hour period did I see any Charter personnel working in the areas Todd said they were in. Still no cable service and no one had contacted me to check on the problem.
