I lost some of my Windows XP files and attempted a repair install only to find out that my computer came with Windows XP Pack 3 and the reinstallation CD was a Windows XP Pack 2. I attempted a clean install and the computer would not accept it. Called the service tech and for an hour he had me repeating the same steps I'd already taken and he had me repeat it three times. He then transferred me over to another dept saying they could help me, but she told me it was the wrong dept and transferred me over to another where I remained online on hold for another fifteen minutes and I finally hung up. I will never order another DELL. This has been the most troublesome fifteen months with a computer that I've ever had.
