“My husband and I were invited by to stay at Holiday Inn in Arlington, Texas on Monday 8/16 through Wednesday morning 8/19 (two nights) for a professional gathering. As such, our two-night stay was graciously paid by our hosts. On the second day of our stay, my husband extended our stay for one night and provided, the night manager, the information necessary to get the State of Texas’ employee rate of $85.00. On Wednesday morning, we proceeded to go visit the the University of Arlington and several museums in Fort Worth. Later that afternoon, we received a call from our host informing us that the Holiday Inn (Ms. Onyango) called him to inform him our reservation with his organization ended at noon on Wednesday, and thus, housekeeping was going to pull our personal effects out of the room.
