“If your meter is inside, you are required by the state to let the utility company read the meter. If you work normal business hours you are more than welcome to request an evening or weekend appointment by having a meter reading supervisor call you back. You can always talk to your municipality to have the city ordinance changed to require your meter to be moved outside. This way you would not have to pay for the move.”
