“Royal Bank of Canada? Royal pain in the rear!
For almost a week and a half I have been trying to close my account with RBC, to no avail when I called the bank I was routed to the usual 5 people to accomplish 1 simple task, CLOSE MY ACCOUNT, guess what , they put my account on a FROZEN status, ya right, During thee last 72 hours someone was able to not only unfreeze my account, but STEAL almost 2000.00 WAY TO GO RBC, do you think that someone was able to answer my question, why is the account not closed yet? no it was like they were reading from a script (they probably were) today 9 days later I spoke to Joanne (JEC employee Id) and was finally told that the account was closed!, gee, it only took 9 days.
If you want my suggestion, about weather or not to trust RBC, the answer is absolutely not!!!, I have been with RBC for over 14 years and thought I was getting good service,,, but when it came time to put the proof in the pudding, I couldn't get a straight answer to a simple question and now I am stuck with no money, and waiting for direct deposit to to be transfered to another financial, institution. If I have learned anything from this fiasco it is to be more careful with MY! money, and it is my money, not theirs, is to KEEP IT IN AMERICA!
