Hello. Last week a business partner and I experienced Spirit Air for the first time. We checked in at Ft Lauderdale airport 2 hours early. AT THE AIRPORT GIFT SHOP we bought two plastic small rolling travel bags. During check in, we were told that the bag's width were fine but they were 2 inches taller than allowed. This is strange because it fit other airlines specifications. I was charged $80.oo on top of the $80.00 for our suitcases. This happened on the return flight as well. After boarding we were informed that Spirit had NO PILOT available for the flight !!!! We were left waiting for over an hour. The pilot finally arrived (food and drink in hand) !!! Upon landing in LaGuardia, were were told there were no gates available to depart. We were left for over an hour on the tarmac. On top of all this. were asked if we would like a soda. But only for $3.00 I can not believe how poorly managed the flight was. Needless to say, we missed our video shoot. It is obvious that Spirit was clearly negligent. These issues should have been avoided. I expect your company to do the right thing and refund my money.
