Tip from Paulette

by Paulette - 2 years ago

Well, Telus is now my ex-Internet provider. Not because of that service, but because I got an invoice for $65.93 from them for charges relating to a non-subscriber card. I called 3 times before I heard what the charges were for. Apparently over two years ago (Feb and Mar 2007) I had a conference call with someone by the name of Arron moderating. This was news to me, but the operator at the Telus contact centre insisted the charges were legit even though he could not substantiate when and even if I requested the non-subscriber card. So in frustration I told Charles, the operator, that I would cut a cheque to Telus but that they could discontinue my internet service. He obliged and I couldn't be happier. It beats me that there would be a charge pending for over 2 years (what type of accounting service do they have?). I have been a long time customer of Telus, but no more. I guess they needed $65.93 more than I do. Paulette
