Wells Fargo Tip from denial

“Daughter deposited third party check at ATM - not knowing she couldn't do that. ATM told her she had half of the check available, $200 - so she paid her Wells Fargo Credit Card and paid a store credit card $15. Then, WF transferred money to savings automatically. She was charged $25 for the WFCC payment, $25 for the transfer and $35 for the overdraft protection. Why didn't ATM have OCR recognition that her name was not on the check and not give her any money at all?? Bank said they couldn't refund the fees. Good grief - why have tellers and bank managers - they have no power. Make everything Auto-Teller.”
