GetHuman-316837: Blue Cross made mistake on monthly statement. I don't have problem with payment but they listed a surgery charge as Behavioral Health service. After talking to them * weeks ago for hours back & forth and a conference call with Medicare who paid bill in full and stated to BC personel that they had it listed correctly as did hospital the person she would turn it in for refiling it has not been taken care of yet. I received another monthly statement a few days ago with same mistake. I called again today and was told after much run around this usually takes * to ** days. I informed her it has been * weeks. She said that is because I live in Alabama. I also had first person * weeks ago to list me as advocate to represent my husband to take care of insurance alls to them which person that day told me she did after speaking to him for his approval. Then She told me it was temp contrary to what I was told. She said I would have to have him fill out form which should have been mailed to me. *
