GetHuman-363834: I had a long wait and the CS representative could not tell me anything that I wanted to know. After * year, Columbia House sells their 'bad debts' to a collection agency. They then purge their system of any history to potentially back up the bad debt claim. The collection agency has ALL pertinent information regarding the account, including purchase and payment history, or so CH said. I was instructed by collection agency to report the action as fraudulent to the police*sheriff and send them a copy of complaint to them along with a dispute letter as well as a letter requesting purchase history from when the account was opened until current. So, that is what I will do. I will report back what comes of this process.
