GetHuman: Can you tell the rest of us a bit more from what happened on 12/01/17?
GetHuman-soveyor: There is a missing lightning arrestor on a riser pole at the corner of Kinsman Road and Glen Valley Drive in Middlefield, Ohio. There are about *** homes being fed by this riser, mine being one of them and since, I have noticed dips and sags in the electricity in my neighborhood. I thought maybe it was just with air conditioning usage, but it happens year round, especially ever since the new electric substation in Geauga County was placed into service. As a former lineman, I realize this is an issue that has not been corrected, and I was tempted to inform the Better Business Bureau about my situation, as the lightning arrestor has been missing for several years now. However, I do not wish to provide my identity, so I am contacting FirstEnergy through GetHuman to see if this issue can be resolved. My home is not the only home in this neighborhood experiencing power factor issues. Some of my neighbors have also been experiencing voltage sags. The transformer box a few yards down is humming very loud* I know the transformer is supposed to hum, but it shouldn't be loud enough that you can hear it from several yards away. Please, if FirstEnergy could be notified, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking this time to understand this issue.
