GetHuman-kybadpa's review of Aetna customer service

GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Aetna customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
GetHuman-kybadpa: Beyond frustration and tired of being lied to by employees of AETNA.
GetHuman: Can you tell the rest of us a bit more from what happened on 11/22/17?
GetHuman-kybadpa: I don't even know where to start. From day one it has been one fight after another to the point I gave up. If they had told me ** months ago my in network provider was ineligible to be my PCP, I would never have joined, now even though he is in network they will not pay his bill because I have not selected a PCP, which is incorrect I did they just won't let me have him after telling me over and over they would. Please, unless you like to be frustrated by people with no clue what they are doing and supervisors that prove the Peter Principle, stay away!
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Aetna. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Aetna problem?
GetHuman-kybadpa: I'd give them a five out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
GetHuman-kybadpa: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Aetna's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
GetHuman-kybadpa: For that I would say five out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Aetna customers?
GetHuman-kybadpa: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Aetna to know who you are.
GetHuman: Well there you have it. Some useful feedback and words from GetHuman-kybadpa taken from his Aetna customer service problem that occurred on November 22nd, 2017.
