GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's IRS customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~Pissed off: I have called the number * or * times and each time it simply hung up on me during the hold time. The excuse was that "there was a high volume of calls." This is ridiculous! I wasted MY time calling them, and the IRS doesn't even have an operator option so you don't have to go through the menu options again, and again, again. HUGE WASTE OF TIME TO CALL THIS NUMBER!!!!!
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting IRS. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a IRS problem?
~Pissed off: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Pissed off: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about IRS's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Pissed off: For that I would say four out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other IRS customers?
~Pissed off: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for IRS to know who you are.
GetHuman: Well there you have it. Some useful feedback and words from ~Pissed off taken from his IRS customer service problem that occurred on November 27th, 2017.
