~Senex: What you get is a litany of "things I can't do," instead of a mindset that is set upon trying to offer the customer meaningful assistance. I spoke to four different individuals, and all seem intent or just getting rid of you. They claim that they are forbidden to switch calls to the corporate office that has authority for the conduct of those in call centers, and they claim that if you want to complain, you'll have to write a letter.**This company needs to rethink its role vis-a-vis its customers, and not so bury itself between "automated responses" and a staff that behaves as if its guarding the walls of the Kremlin!

~Senex: I'd give them a one out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Senex: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Northeast Utilities's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Senex: For that I would say four out of five.
