GetHuman-mcihon2: Shame on Trader Joes! I have been a loyal customer for ** years. I have asked at my local store about the over packing of products in plastic clamshells and have gotten no where. Today I called customer service and inquired into their research in using biodegradable products instead of clamshells. I was told that for the easy of shipping, and cost, clamshells are the way they will continue to go. Niki totally believes that all plastic is recyclable. I told her where I live and that it is not possible to recycle clamshells or plastic numbered *-*. Not her problem!
