~Bill in Raleigh, NC: Not only did you not answer, you disconnected me after ** minutes of hold time.Wow! We are experiencing some of the same frustrations. We too are trying to figure out the patterns of failed deliveries and wonder if this is the state of our postal service in the new economy or if there is a more isolated problem going on. Thank you for bringing this up. I will finally step up and make a complaint!*No mail delivery on Tuesday. Similar instances previously. No logical pattern to deliveries.....may arrive *:** pm one day, *:** - *:** next night, noon the next day. When I recently informed a company that I never received an item I had ordered before Christmas, they said they would be doing an investigation and sending a replacement out, STAT. I think their tracking had shown that the item had been successfully delivered. Oddly enough, the "lost" package was delivered by our regular mailman the same day the UPS truck came with the re-issued package! **Another incident, sometime in the fall,
