GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Allegiant customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~MAcrespo@outlook.com: The customer service is very poor. I had to wait on the phone for hours to reach them. The website didn't help me to change my carrier bag to check bagged. Instead, they wanted to charge me another fee on top of the one I already paid. The customer service at the airport didn't know how to help me with my luggage when boarding. Because of this, I was charged ***.** for * bags. The Allegiant Airlines stated they couldn't refunded me the money even though there was a problem with the website. They just said I needed talk to someone else in another department. However, they never gave me the contact information to reach said department. If you still decide to travel with allegiant despite all the complaints, make sure you fill out the information correctly regarding baggage because there is no way to fix it without getting charged another fee.

GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?

GetHuman: And what about Allegiant's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~MAcrespo@outlook.com: For that I would say two out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Allegiant customers?
~MAcrespo@outlook.com: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Allegiant to know who you are.
