~smarttraveler: Scratch Andaz Hotel (at ** Wall Street) off of your list. Arrived after a long trip with heavy schedule next day. Was told reservation was not going to be honored. Hotel had oversold. "Sorry. Wait, we can find you another place." After wait, put me across bridge across from loud construction site in Brooklyn. Others were in same boat. Hotel in Brooklyn mentioned that they been taking "oversold" clients from Andaz over time. No reason given for overselling policy. Another client (CTO of a large company) was also upset. We've put out an alert to Amex and to our large company worldwide. Scratch Andaz off your list. Reservations don't mean much. Unacceptable behavior. Unfortunate.
