~JERRY: I made the mistake of reporting a bonus check I received as income for the week I received the check and was sent a letter saying I filled out the form incorrectly, I got a duplicate form and sent it in and received another letter saying it was filled out incorrectly also but this time I didn't get another claim form, just a letter saying that I had to call them up before ********.*I must have tried to call over **** times during the next few weeks and never got through to a representative. I had not received any unemployment payments since August and thought I would be evicted if I couldn't get the problem fixed.*I started to use the e-mail at ASK EDD and e-mailed daily to try to get a response but nobody ever answered my e-mails. I started going online and searching for emergency telephone numbers for EDD and somehow came up with the live chat line which I couldn't get through but there were two phone numbers listed at the bottom of the page and I thought I would give them a try.
