GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Capital One customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~Bonnie: I am proud of the way I handle my bills--I pay regularly and on time. I set my Capital One payment to be paid every * weeks on BillPay. As a result, one month, * payments were made. Both payments got credited to the current month, making my next month's payment "late." Even though I have been an outstanding customer, Capital One jacked my interest rate up from *.* percent to ** percent. I called and got an Indian representative who could hardly speak English. All he did was read from a script. When I asked for his supervisor, I got the same type of person--totally unhelpful and non-caring. I could not make them understand that I was not behind in my payments, I was actually AHEAD! **I got nowhere with them so I went to a savings and loan and got a loan to pay them off. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CAPITAL ONE.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Capital One. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Capital One problem?
~Bonnie: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Bonnie: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Capital One's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Bonnie: For that I would say five out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Capital One customers?
~Bonnie: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Capital One to know who you are.
GetHuman: Well there you have it. Some useful feedback and words from ~Bonnie taken from his Capital One customer service problem that occurred on October 25th, 2017.
