~sdapples: Directv sent me two broken dvrs. One, a brand new one I paid for, and the second one a replacement for a broken receiver. Instead of sending me new ones overnight to replace the broken ones I had to install to find out they were broken... They made me do * hours of "troubleshooting" before they told me they would send me * refurbished units. A refurbished unit to replace the brand new one that I paid $*** for, and it was broken out of the box. Oh.. and there is a shortage, so I have to wait over a week to get the replacements... But they did offer me $*.** for the lack of service on the two boxes that will be useless for over a week. They only give credit towards the $* additional box fee, nothing towards the $*** I spend on the service in a month.*DIRECTV IS A JOKE!!!

~sdapples: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~sdapples: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about DirecTV's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~sdapples: For that I would say five out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other DirecTV customers?
~sdapples: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for DirecTV to know who you are.
