~disgustedwithequifax: Gave information to dispute person answering phone. My credit file has been mixed with another persons and she tried to blame it on the individual creditors reporting the information to my file. There is no way this could be the case. Has to be an Equifax error. The other two agencies, Transunion, and Experion have correct information, Equifax is way off. It's too early to know if problem will be resolved, but I only know that at this point I am unable to get credit because my FICO score is totally too high due to the other persons credit being combined with mine. Until this is taken off my credit, I will not be able to get a loan anywhere. Today I received a letter from a company I had good credit with and paid off a note early letting me know I no longer have credit with them, and to cut up my credit card. This is all due to the error in the reporting of Equifax. Maybe I need to talk to my attorney about this.
