GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Experian customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~Dayle75: I am searching Mortgage companies rates in preparation of purchasing a new home. I asked the gentleman I spoke with that I wanted to let Experian know that I was searching for a new Home loan and didn't want the company to take points off of my credit score every time a Mortgage company calls to get my credit score. The man said that I should tell the Mortgage company I don't want to give them my credit report! This was the most ridiculous answer anyone could receive. Any lending institute that provides a loan to someone is MOST ASSUREDLY going to request a Credit Report. If you have a better answer and a phone number I could call to get the situation taken care of, please let me know. My email address is D*****@***.com.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Experian. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Experian problem?
~Dayle75: I'd give them a five out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Dayle75: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Experian's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Dayle75: For that I would say two out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Experian customers?
~Dayle75: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Experian to know who you are.
