~Anonymous: Was never notified that my Rx had a generic available, per my Dr's Rx there was no generic at time of dispense. When I called to get a refill, I was not told a generic was now available and that I'd be receiving this. A week later, I was charged for and received the generic drug. When I finally sorted out what happened, the pharmacy claims it's not their error as it was processed properly and that they are allowed to substitute generics. Apparently notification isn't required.
