GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Fandango customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~lame: I received * $** gift cards for christmas as a gift, I went to use them online today to purchase IMAX tickets, and the website told me the cards were invalid. I called customer service, was told the cards were expired. CARDS DONT EXPIRE! It says so right on the back of the card! Then she told me that the cards were purchased during a promotion, and the promotion expired. WHAT?? Then she says she was mistaken, that they weren't expired, but they weren't activated. She says to go to the store they were bought at, and tell them to activate it. FAT CHANCE without the original receipt, these were GIFTED to me! I asked THREE times for a supervisor. I was put on hold, and the same person would come back on the phone each time. Never spoke to a supervisor. BOGUS runaround explanations, NO solution to the problem, I will actively AVOID fandango from now on.

~lame: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~lame: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Fandango's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~lame: For that I would say four out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Fandango customers?
~lame: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Fandango to know who you are.
