~Rgl: Elderly in crisis situation* son called in to report outage. Took ** minutes before actual person came on line. *st person would not go off her script of " we must have ss* or account *. We explained we are * hours away and elderly living alone must have electricity . We had to talk to two supervisors before we could his moms bill so it could be turned on. It took more than * hours to get her electricity. After doing impersonal computer generated responses and talking to three ineffective customer service reps- we finally talked with the last one that sais " I'm sorry you are going through this" I'll keep you in my prayers" . We about cried. She was the only person that was kind and genuinely concerned.

~Rgl: I'd give them a five out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Rgl: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Gulf Power's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Rgl: For that I would say five out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Gulf Power customers?
~Rgl: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Gulf Power to know who you are.
