GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's HigherOne customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~Anonymous: I decided to take advantage of the $** reward for setting up direct deposit into the student "checking" account. WHAT A MISTAKE. I'm a working adult student so my checks are somewhat of decent capacity. I have bills to pay on top of the responsibility of school. With that said, my employer completed all steps necessary to initiate the direct deposit into the account. Pay day rolls around and my account balance is still $*. I call into customer service to find out why and wait for ** minutes just to be told to submit a question online or use Easy Help to find my answer. Not knowing how horrible this place truly is, I follow direction. I go online submit a question that is to be answered in ** hrs. ** hrs goes by... nothing. With Labor Day and this being a new account, I wait one more day to give the institution the benefit of the doubt thinking the above reasons may have something to do with some sort of "hold" on my pay. The next day comes along and still NO pay!! NO email!! I finally

~Anonymous: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about HigherOne's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Anonymous: For that I would say one out of five.

~Anonymous: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for HigherOne to know who you are.
