GetHuman-357568: Was trying to cancel service. Relocating to a different state. Had * mo's remaining on a contract that I did not know existed but did not dispute. Long time customer. Was told $***.** as a penalty for early cancellation. Asked to downgrade service, then cancel. Went upline to one supervisor who refused to negotiate or transfer me to her supervisor or cancel under lower plan. Asserted she had no authority to negotiate. When asked where Hughes Net headquarters was located, she responded "United States". When pressed she said she only knew the "city" which was Maryland!!*I wasted ***min of my day with no satisfaction, after putting us with sub-par intenet connection for years. *Thanks HughesNet!!

GetHuman: And what about HughesNet's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
GetHuman-357568: For that I would say two out of five.

GetHuman-357568: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for HughesNet to know who you are.
