GetHuman-beckysal: Complaint
GetHuman: Can you tell the rest of us a bit more from what happened on 11/29/17?
GetHuman-beckysal: I placed an order ******* for kitchen cabinets. I had called several times prior to this to clarify the process and timeframe for delivery and was told every time *-* weeks. I waited to order as long as possible to see if a kitchen even was coming but soon enough to give an extra week for delivery in case of delay. I was given an estimated delivery date of ****. As of today I still do not have cabinets and the delivery company cannot tell me a firm date on delivery. They are stating it could be as late as *******. I am aware that ******* was an estimated date but no where does it state that the estimated date can be up to two full weeks from the actual date. I can see several days but * weeks is unacceptable. I live * hours from an Ikea and absolutely would have ordered in the store if this information had been made clear in any way. I will have installers waiting with no product to install this weekend if they are not delivered by ******. I would like to see your policy updated to inform purchasers of the potential wait time. Every time I have spoken to someone about time frames I had given my zip code and was still quoted the *-* weeks. Also, please forward this complaint to an appropriate party to see about having all or part of my delivery refunded. This grossly inaccurate date has caused a delay that will set my project back several weeks as my installers are not able to return until ****. As stated before, I would have picked the items up in person at the Ikea Merriam if your delivery policy was accurately described over the phone or online. Please contact me as soon as possible to have this issue resolved.*Thank you, *Becky Salz
