GetHuman-16864: I have to say how disappointed I am with the quality of these shoes. I wore All Stars through out my youth and remember them to be great basic shoes at an affordable price. After ** years I decided to get another pair. I love the look of these John Varvatos swede double zips and was very pleased when I began wearing them. They are very comfortable and keep my feet warm. However within two weeks the soul began separating from the side panels and the side panels began to fall apart. I've never had a pair of shoes do this before, let alone a pair of Converse. At $*** I was expected to get a really deluxe pair of All Stars but as it turns out these aren't even as good as the pair I paid $** bucks for back in the **'s. What happened? If this were a shoe company I had not heard of before I would suggest they get out of the shoe business.
