~Heather: The actual service I received from LabCorp was fine. The billing services however was absolutely horrible. The representative that I spoke with was a complete ***** to me. I was trying to get things straightened out with my insurance company so that LabCorp could get paid* however, she had an attitude the moment she picked up the phone and it did not change throughout the entire phone call. I have had to deal with a lot of billing situations due to my insurances lack of communication and this was by far the worst I have EVER dealt with. And, it was not just on this call. I have called at least ** times in the past year and each time have been met with hostile employees from LabCorp. I have not had any other problems with other labs (Ntd Labs, for example) or any other medical facilities other than LabCorp. I will definitely try to discuss with my ordering physician to determine if I can be assisted by another lab in the future.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting LabCorp. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a LabCorp problem?
~Heather: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Heather: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about LabCorp's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Heather: For that I would say four out of five.

~Heather: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for LabCorp to know who you are.
