GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Linksys customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~Wendy: I wanted to simply set-up a security password for my wi-fi. I tried to log in to the router webpage and found that the default admin password was not working. I called Linksys, expecting this * minute issue to be quickly and helpfully resolved, as it is with every other company. I was informed that my router's customer service "warranty" had expired and they could give me no help or information unless I paid for the customer service. Fifteen minutes on Google helped me fix my problem - which was literally pressing the reset button on the back of my router. He could have told me that in less than the amount of time that it took him to search his system to see if my router was still "under customer service warranty". Because of this terrible customer service, I'll never buy another Linksys product again.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Linksys. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Linksys problem?
~Wendy: I'd give them a three out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Wendy: I'd give them a four out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Linksys's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Wendy: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Linksys customers?
~Wendy: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Linksys to know who you are.
