GetHuman-111599: do not but a magic jack it gets hot mine died after a year and a half on a * year plan bought another at wal-mart and they would not transfer my plan unless i paid the shipping like **.** or **.** to get the unit under their warranty when i had a warranty under wal-mart i still have yet to resolve this issue and i have * units registered under the same number and i asked that they cancell the new unit so it is not actice when i return it to the store what a way for someone to buy it used or get a refurbished unit and my information or number is still active buyer beware you will not be happy with the service having to chat online with ** people that cant help you and waste a entire day and your privacy returning your unit or units could be comprimised i think your company needs a good legal case brought against you for not protecting privacy and or switching units out properly you should be able to deactivate a non working unit and the remainder of your contract switched to any unit y
