GetHuman-115905: Recently I was solicited to attend a dinner and presentation concerning the upcoming lame duck session of Congress by a Mr. Shad Lamm of Morgan Stanley of Indian Wells, California. Mr. Shamm attempted to solicit me as a client when I responded to the invitation. I informed him that I was hesitant to deal with full service brokers because of their fees,their reputation, and my past disappointment with Merrill Lynch. Mr. Shamm then stated the purpose of the dinner and speech was to secure new clients for Morgan Stanley, and that I "just wanted a free dinner". I rang off. I have been an investor for more than ** years and have never encounted such a rude person, who obviously has reached that point in his carrear where the Peter principle has been upheld once more---one is promoted to a point of incompetency in a large organization and stays there.
