~Linda: I called last week needing a new compressor for taking albuterol sulfate. I asked the lady if I needed to go through my dr, she said no, I could look for a store in my area and as long as they excepted UHC I could go ahead and get one. Asked her who in my area was in network she told me I could look that up myself at the website!! OK,I spent the rest of the day couldn't find anyone. Called the next day and talked to a man and he told me the name of a place in network. I called them, they never called me back. So I tried again. This time the insurance man at that store said I have to have a prescription from my Dr. That's the first thing I asked the girl, do I need my Dr. to do this. What a run around. A week later I still don't have a compressor. Guess I'll call the Dr. tomorrow. If you don't want to do your job, stay home.

~Linda: I'd give them a five out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Linda: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about United Healthcare's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Linda: For that I would say three out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other United Healthcare customers?
~Linda: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for United Healthcare to know who you are.
