~ka4yma: My attempt to post a comment in the "Leave your comment..." window pops up a ***char only 'review window'. I'll try here too.*---------*It is not appropriate to depend on me to tell you your jobs, but mistakes are being made at every level: phone ops, field task assignment, and call-center & field technician training* on-line customer troubleshooting instructions.* Last week I called FiOS, and described my phone problem (dial tone is still being lost during damp weather. and the problem is not in my house) but the tech the operator sent said, "I'm the wrong kind of field tech. You should have asked for a 'Copper technician'. I can't repair your NID." Actually he did a partial repair on the TelCo side of the NID by re-attaching a broken lead. This returned dial tone ** to a Test Socket. *He advised that:*"The 'client side' closure ***** has fallen out and should be replaced to prevent this kind of mold growth."*"The problem goes on away when I pull out the Test Jack".*"Since Tone
