~scottyb: I called about a problem with a seller that had a duplicate listing, stated that the part ordered was in stock and gave specific time frame for delivers... but instead email on day of proposed delivery to explain a situation that they should have not known of yet* i.e. that the part did not arrive due to 'holidays'slowing the shipment of parts they said was in stock. Anyway... this number was a great line of communication. I was put directly into the resolution center where a man helped by guaranteeing the refund upon investigating the ad while on the phone with me. Even though I am still waiting on the refund, this number was the fastest way to contact a real person!!!
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting eBay. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a eBay problem?
~scottyb: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~scottyb: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about eBay's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~scottyb: For that I would say five out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other eBay customers?
~scottyb: Try to deal with them early in the day or later. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for eBay to know who you are.
