~egoods: The first people you typically talk to are in the billing department. These are the outsourced CSRs, and they have very limited things they can help you out with. Simply ask to speak with someone in the license department and you'll get put on hold and transferred to someone who can actually get what you need. Also, avoid calling late in the day, hold times can be pretty bad after *pm (hours *), but if you call first thing in the morning hold times are typically less then * minutes.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Allstate. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Allstate problem?
~egoods: I'd give them a five out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~egoods: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Allstate's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~egoods: For that I would say three out of five.
